Use LoopCode

Control from your phone

Follow and steer LoopCode on your computer from your phone — see what it is doing, approve commands, answer questions, send the next task, or stop a turn. End-to-end encrypted.

Turn it on

On your computerHow
Desktop appFile → Control from Phone…
Terminal/remote in a conversation (/remote again turns it off)

A QR code appears. Scan it with your phone's camera. The page that opens connects straight to your computer — there is nothing to install and no separate sign-in on the phone.

What you can do from the phone

  • See your conversations, grouped by what they need: waiting on you, working now, and earlier.
  • Follow a conversation live — what LoopCode is doing right now, each step, and its answers.
  • Approve or deny a command or edit it is waiting on.
  • Answer its questions — tap an option, or answer in your own words.
  • Send a message to steer the work, or start a new task in the same project.
  • Stop a turn that is going the wrong way.

The phone can only do these things. It cannot open a terminal, write files of its own, or change settings.

When your phone loses the connection, the page says so and keeps trying; it catches up as soon as you come back to it.

Turn it off

Turn remote control off the way you turned it on. The phone shows that it was turned off. Every time you turn it on again, LoopCode makes a new pairing and a new QR code, so an old code is worthless.

Security

  • The QR code holds a random channel name and a random 256-bit key, in the part of the link after #. Browsers never send that part to a server.
  • Every message between the phone and the computer is sealed with AES-256-GCM using that key. The relay in between carries only ciphertext; a message not sealed with the key — tampered with, or from anyone without the code — fails to open.
  • A request older than two minutes is refused, so a recorded message cannot be replayed later.
  • The pairing lasts until you turn remote control off on the computer.

Treat the QR code like a key: anyone who scans it can steer that session while remote control is on.
