Extend LoopCode
Plugins
Install Claude Code plugins in LoopCode — bundles of skills, commands, subagents and MCP servers — from any Claude plugin marketplace.
What a plugin is
A plugin bundles skills, slash commands, subagents and MCP servers in one folder, in Claude Code's plugin format: a .claude-plugin/plugin.json plus any of skills/, commands/, agents/ and .mcp.json.
In LoopCode, a plugin's skills and commands are available as /plugin:name, its agents become subagents, and its MCP servers connect like any others. Plugin hooks are not run.
Plugins you already have
Plugins installed in Claude Code are read as they are — if you set up Claude Code, you get the same skills here without doing anything.
Install plugins
loopcode plugin search # what the marketplaces offer
loopcode plugin search database # filtered
loopcode plugin install <name> # from any marketplace you have
loopcode plugin install <name>@<market> # from a particular one
loopcode plugin list # installed, from LoopCode and from Claude Code
loopcode plugin disable <name> # turn one off for LoopCode
loopcode plugin enable <name>
loopcode plugin uninstall <name> # remove one installed here
/plugins does all of this inside a conversation.
Marketplaces
A marketplace is a repository that lists plugins. LoopCode uses the marketplaces Claude Code already cloned, and any you add:
loopcode plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-official # GitHub owner/repo
loopcode plugin marketplace add https://git.example.com/plugins.git # a git URL
loopcode plugin marketplace add ./our-plugins # a folder
loopcode plugin marketplace list
With no source, marketplace add adds the official Claude plugin marketplace. Plugins installed from LoopCode live in ~/.loopcode/plugins.
